Color is always my first spark for inspiration and nothing gets me more excited about a potential palette than interior images. They are my favorite jumping point in deciding what paint colors to mix. Once the palette is confirmed and the colors are created, I cover canvas strips in the selected paint colors to use throughout the life cycle of my studio process. These canvas strips have become one of the most important parts of my cyclical rhythm. They set the process up with their endless uses for layer placement planning, cutting + arranging for collage work or simply objects to enjoy moving around, pinning up, photographing, color categorizing etc.
