PIECES.

March didn’t bring any finished pieces, but it did come with a lot of new discoveries that I’m excited to carry into April. One of my previous paintings arrived at a gallery with damage. What was initially bad news turned into an opportunity that I never would have explored before. I removed the damaged painting from its frame and cut it into strips. These strips will become the foundation to arrange cut shapes onto. It’s opened up a new way to explore larger-scale collage work that will eventually be framed. More to come next month!
